‘Triveni’ is a Charitable Organisation. The initiative was taken by three friends on a Friday afternoon of Spring 2023, who have succeeded in quickly capturing the interest of an eager community and gaining significant momentum aimed at organising successful events. With unyielding determination, they set their sights on engaging the wider Indian sub-continent community in their vicinity. All the organisers of the core committee formed to steer the events come with prior experience of organising these celebrations.
Our Aims and Objectives
Our aims are to bring the entire community together in the spirit of love and friendship, regardless of religion, race, colour, or creed. The cultural events will allow community members to showcase their talents and cultural heritage. The event also aims to promote the local economy and small businesses by sourcing our requirements locally and provide them with a forum to showcase their ideas, talent, and skill sets.
Our Main Objectives are:
- To Promote and advance the principles of cultural aspect of Indian Sub-continent within UK for the benefit of the public through the organisation lectures, seminars, public celebration of regional festivals, producing and/or distributing literature related to enlighten others;
- Organise social, cultural and traditional events;
- Work towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, colour or creed;
- Promote harmony between various community groups;
- Promote Indian culture, including language, literature, festivals and performing arts.
The core organisation members/trustees are inviting everyone to join these events. Our objective is to bring the entire community together to enjoy the festivities, cultural activities and community feast. We shall also be donating food to the local food banks and care homes. Through this event we shall be promoting local the local economy and small businesses as well by sourcing our requirements locally and also provide them with a forum to showcase their ideas, talent and skillsets.
