Saraswati Puja in Aylesbury 2026
It is our pleasure to inform you that we at Triveni CIC are organising, for the third time in a row, Saraswati Puja in Aylesbury on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 11 am to 4 pm at Mandeville School, Ellen Rd, Aylesbury HP21 8ES.
Goddess Saraswati is worshipped as the goddess of knowledge, language, music, and all arts, and embodies creative energy and power in various forms, including longing and love. Saraswati Puja is a festival that marks the beginning of preparations for the spring season.
Spring, often hailed as the “King of all Seasons,” heralds the ripening of agricultural fields with the vibrant yellow flowers of the mustard crop, a hue associated with Maa Saraswati’s fondness
On this auspicious day, people gather with babies and young children, encouraging them to make their first attempts at writing with their fingers (Haate Khori). Adorned in yellow saris, shirts, or accessories, participants share yellow-themed snacks and sweets, embracing the spirit of renewal and prosperity.
But more significantly, an opportunity for the entire community to come together in the true spirit of love and friendship, irrespective of religion, race, colour or creed.
